Hii! The fact you started using Substack has made me want to try and write as well! I tried to blog years ago in Wordpress, but completely stopped. I loved it though. You shared the Tiktok about how jealousy is a good indicator of what is missing in your life and it touched me. I have been wildly jealous (healthily(?)) of people that create content-- I've been dying to share my thoughts and knowledge but feel like a jack of all trades and a master of none. Also, it scares me having to show my face or staring a project that will never "pop off" (cuz saturated market). So I've been thinking, "what's the point?"

A lot of your content is so applicable and relatable to me, I feel like it's exactly what I want to share. For example, the way you use ChatGPT-- I do the exact same thing. Recently, it helped me figure out my taxes for 2025. That's crazy. I want to share moments like that! I'm also in the process of applying to grad school (with a low GPA and lack of research experience). A challenging path! I'd love to share this experience knowing others could relate. I love spreadsheets, budgeting, productivity, and above all, mental health. That's my passion. But all of this can be so personal that I thought I'd have to show myself face.

When I saw your video when it was published, I realized that if you can move along your journey outside of YouTube and share your thoughts here, I thought maybe this would be a good place to start sharing mine without having to show myself or worry about judgement.

I'm so excited to read more from you and other recommendations you will share. I am proud for your new path. I've been following you since before you took your gap years! 🥹

Ahh I'm so excited for you! I can already tell writing online will be perfect for you (and we have such similar interests). I used to blog (on Blogspot hahaha, that was soooo long ago) and it was a very very nice creative outlet. All of your concerns with content creation are so valid but I agree that writing online is a good way to get started if you don't want to show your face online. And as for never "popping off" 🤷‍♂ oh well, we can't control the algorithm sometimes. You will still have given valuable content to a FEW readers and created something of your own (improving your writing in the process!). I love love love that feeling when I see other content creators who are sharing exactly the kind of thing I want to share, it's very cool to be able to resonate like that. And also the jealousy TikTok -- isn't it SO good and eye-opening? I've also felt at time jealous of other content creators who I thought were more creative or braver in certain ways. I have also felt jealousy around other people's social lives, and I realized that maybe this points to me needing more of a community of my own!

This reply is all over the place but I loved your entire comment and wanted to respond to every part in some way hahaha. Thanks for all of your support over these past years! I really appreciate it <3

Go for it. Do the YouTube thing. It sounds like you have a lot to share or give the community. Don’t let it be a hindrance on your education though. Hope that all came across with love and the encouragement it was meant to convey.

Hi, Beatričė! I use ChatGPT to rewrite work emails for me when I’m feeling annoyed or frustrated. I write the email I would normally send, give ChatGPT the context, give it the email I wrote, and ask it to polish the email. It takes all the personality out of my writing, which in this case means taking the edge out of my voice. I usually go back and forth with it a few times to make the email sound like me—just an ultra-professional, never-annoyed version of me. Ha!

Hi Beatričė! I’ve been keeping up with you since the end of my senior year of high school in 2020. Now I’m a graduate student getting my masters in Environmental Studies. I just wanted to thank you for always making me think about how I can improve my life! While I am sad to see you leave YouTube, I know you made the right choice and I can’t wait to see what else you do.

Personally I use AI to teach me about a topic I didn't fully understood at class, I ask it very specific questions to have a more global view of every corner of the topic.

Ooh yes, it is so helpful for that. It's interesting how it has become more useful than Google (in my opinion). I was recently in this social psychology class, and I wanted to dive deeper into a question I had about attachment styles. I searched it on Google and opened the top result, and it was like this SEO-optimized article on a website built ENTIRELY to get clicks for Betterhelp affiliate links, like 😭 ChatGPT did a better job giving me the information I was asking for

reading this felt so ironic to me because i just used chatgpt yesterday to help me get my life in order. since freshly turning 18, i had the precursor to a mental breakdown when i realised i've been doing nothing the entire summer and that all my passions were still stuck in my head. i was overwhelmed with all the ways i could take action that i pulled up chatgpt and asked for help; in the end it was sort of affirming and therapeutic for me. that being said, i love your content and will keep up with it no matter how you choose to upload it. the bliss bean has been one of my favourite sources of media that's actually meaningful to consume, and i hope you know that!

wow thank you so much for your kind words! I think I understand that feeling, and I think that's exactly the kind of situation where I find ChatGPT very helpful. I'm glad that it was therapeutic for you!

I’m a 59 year old wife, mother, grandma, retired billing clerk, secretary and office manager. I’m now enjoying traveling around the USA in a small class ,c RV, solo, meeting all kinds of interesting people. Although there is a vast difference in our lives I find everything you write interesting and intriguing. You are about my children’s ages, maybe a little younger, I find myself cheering you on from the sidelines. I get happily excited when I see something you wrote in my inbox. I have not watched the YouTube yet but know it will be good. I respect you for being bold and making changes as the need or desire occurs. I’m looking forward to hearing what topic you chose for your thesis, maybe add consumer trends to your options since you mentioned enjoying them in this correspondence. I’m sure whatever you learn, from the topic you chose, will have a beneficial influence. Kindly, Stacey

as someone who's benefited a lot from your productivity videos, i'm sad to see you go but so proud of you for doing what's right for you! i'm happy that you're still creating content, just shifting what it looks like. it's funny timing because i am now starting to create content, but we all do what works best for us!

my sister uses chatgpt quite a lot and has inspired me to adopt it more. i still find myself forgetting it's an option, but i like to use it the way you do–as a first draft that i can work off of. for any serious writing (personal or professional) however, i prefer to start from scratch just so i feel like it's purely my own work.

welcome to substack! i look forward to reading your posts <3

Beatrice! Welcome to Substack! I'm so glad you're here. I found you first on YouTube but have always loved receiving and reading your newsletters. Substack is the perfect place to explore, write, and be yourself without the constant pressure to engage and share.

I write and illustrate stories about facing fear (and am like.. should I be using ChatGPT as a therapist to discuss my fears lol. You've inspired me).

Congrats on taking your ballsy decision! We're all rooting for you big time.

Hi there! I've always loved reading your newsletter, and it was super interesting to hear about your thoughts on AI and social media. I've taken big steps to reduce my social media usage, and I'm so happy that I did.

The big thing for me is that I use social media to find community—I'm happiest when I'm actively posting on a fanpage or looking at art people make hahaha. However, I only use the website versions (if I need to post something on my Instagram story, I'll literally redownload the app just to post something and then I'll immediately delete it right after). I always stay off of social media during the day, and I have a dedicated time to check it in the evening so I don't feel like I'm missing out.

I look forward to reading more newsletters in the future! <3 Much love!

Ooh these are genius steps! Downloading and redownloading adds friction so you’re not doing it mindlessly. I also really like the idea of having a social media block of time 🥹

Thank you for following the newsletter!

Hiiii Beatričė! I'm Vesta and I have been subscribed to your YouTube channel for at least a year (time flies!). I am a fellow Lithuanian, currently doing training as a multilingual management assistant (in German: Fremdsprachenkorrespondent) at a language school in Germany and I juggle between translation and interpreting in German, English and Spanish for a little over a year now. I'm expected to graduate in July 2025.

I have been using ChatGPT far more frequently now, thanks to my recent 4-week internship in Sweden. I was at a company which worked with AI, so, naturally, I would get the skills as well.

Using it as a therapist for little worries when you don't want to contact anyone else is a great idea that I just implemented a while ago so that I can also feel reassured. Though, I use ChatGPT mostly for studying and test preparation. Our teachers allow the usage of AI, but to a certain extent.

I have taken a break from social media a few times through a social media detox. I deleted everything off my phone for around 2 weeks or less. It was an exhilarating feeling that I don't have to feel the pressure of posting stories as updates about my life for my friends, family and a few acquaintances.

These days, I prefer to read content rather than watch it even if I love watching YouTube videos. Maybe it's the informational stuff that I want in written form and I like watching vlogs as relaxation after a long day at school. So I'm really glad to read your content again. :3

From one Lithuanian to another, sending hugs from Germany!

Hello fellow Lithuanian!! 👋 your training program sounds cool and it’s really impressive to be so proficient in multiple languages that you can translate and interpret!!

It’s also super useful for studying and test prep I agree. I have fed it my notes and asked it to write me some review questions (although I think you have to know the material well know to know when it writes a bit of nonsense hahaha).

How do you feel when you come back to social media after those breaks? Do you enjoy the posting more, approach it differently? I’m curious to hear! It’s interesting because when I first started posting on my personal account it felt like a creative escape from the pressure of posting on the Bliss Bean account, but then I noticed that even posting for friends and family lived constantly in the back of my mind (“what will be cool to share?”) and that my comparisonitis was even worse when on my personal account than my “work” account
